Printed to announce two nights in Berlin in March 1996, this flyer advertised Transmediator, billed as words, art, music: a series in which Genesis P.Orridge presented their own texts. On 25 March at Tacheles, Oranienburger Strasse 53–56, the programme was a lecture with Julie Wilson, a video screening and ambient trance from the Berlin DJ Tanith, beginning at 22.00; on 27 March at Ex & Pop on Mansteinstrasse, a LectureEvent and screening, with ambient disco. The Berlin daily taz listed the Tacheles night on 23 March 1996, noting previously unreleased films by Derek Jarman among the screenings. The long card is printed in colour on one side only: a pink frame around a gradient of rose, orange and blue, the title set twice, once in an invented script and once in roman, and at right a portrait of P.Orridge with the psychick cross. The reverse is blank. From the James Birch Collection. 21 × 7.4 cm. Fine, with faint signs of age and a few light bumps to the corners. The flyer spells the name P.Orridge, with a full stop.
