Original exhibition invitation card
22 rue Visconti, Paris 75006
3–15 October 2024
Offset-printed card with full-bleed photographic image to recto; blank verso.
Artists: Adel Abdessemed, Art Keller, Bruno Perramant, Conrad Bakker, Frank Perrin, Gianni Motti, Jannis Kounellis, Jimmie Durham, Julien Prévieux, Marc Boucherot, Philippe Meste, Raymond Pettibon.
Condition: good; visible handling, surface rubbing, softened edges, corner wear, and light creasing. The blank verso carries the material record more clearly than the printed face: storage, pressure, movement.
The title refers to Guy Debord’s 1953 Situationist slogan “Ne travaillez jamais,” written on a Paris wall and later absorbed into the visual mythology of anti-work, refusal, and artistic life. The exhibition is documented at 22 rue Visconti, Paris, with matching dates and artist list.
A recent but already fugitive exhibition object. The card brings together a temporary Paris address, a Situationist command, and a group of artists whose work touches refusal, action, violence, labour, image, and institutional drift. Less a souvenir than a minor printed support for a short-lived exhibition structure.
A small document of circulation.
The work has ended.
The card remains.
UK shipping included. International shipping available at additional cost.
