Collection: Zoe Leonard
Zoe Leonard is an American artist whose practice spans photography, sculpture, installation, and text. Her work engages questions of visibility, loss, queer history, and the politics of representation. I Want a President, written in 1992 during the AIDS crisis and circulated through activist and queer networks, remains one of the most widely reproduced and enduring political texts to emerge from that period. Leonard’s publications and printed matter circulate through artist-led presses, independent editions, and institutional contexts in equal measure.
