Folded into eight equal sections and mailed as issued, with the original address label, postage stamp, and postal cancellation preserved on the reverse.

The poster reproduces two bronze sculptural objects against a dusty rose-pink ground: a tall floor-standing candelabrum and a low chaise longue with bolted side panels, circular portholes, turned legs, and draped fabric. Furniture, object, and surreal proposition collapse into a single printed surface.

Printed in Milan by Sergio Tosi — the experimental publisher and printer associated with postwar European avant-garde publications, artist books, and exhibition material. Belgian artist, London exhibition, Milanese production: the poster already records an international network of artistic exchange before entering the postal system.

Provenance: Originally mailed to Joachim Wolfgang Graf von Moltke, founding director of Kunsthalle Bielefeld. The affixed address label and postal markings record the poster’s first movement through the postwar European museum network. Before entering a collection, the exhibition existed as correspondence — addressed, stamped, delivered, and retained.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Original fold lines, light creasing, handling wear, and postal markings consistent with its intended method of distribution. The address label, postage stamp, and cancellation remain affixed to the reverse as issued.
