We build libraries

Whether you're building a library, looking for something specific, or letting part of a collection go, start here.

The material

We work with material that sits between artwork, document and archive.

Rare art books, artists' publications, exhibition ephemera, correspondence, posters, invitations, catalogues, manuscripts and analog media. Each object is researched, catalogued and given a register number before it is offered, so its history travels with it.

We build libraries for collectors, institutions and people just starting out: one book or one shelf at a time.

How it works

01

Tell us what draws you

An artist, a movement, a decade, a question. Or one title you've been chasing for years.

02

We source and advise

We research what exists, what matters and what's worth waiting for. Much of what we find never reaches the open market.

03

The library takes shape

Every object arrives with its register number, so its history travels with it onto your shelf.

Three ways in

● Building a library

For collectors, institutions and people just starting out. Tell us what draws you and we'll source, advise and assemble around it.

○ Looking for something specific

A missing catalogue, a particular edition, an invitation from one show. Send us your want-list.

○ Selling or consigning

Much of what we acquire comes from collectors and private individuals. We're particularly interested in collections and larger groups of material.
