Original exhibition card issued for Inner Dialogue, a 2024 exhibition by Leidy Churchman at Galerie Chantal Crousel, Paris. The reproduced painting reflects Churchman’s layered visual language: fragments of text, symbolic forms, diagrammatic space, birds, thresholds, and painterly atmospheres assembled into a shifting psychological field.

Churchman became increasingly significant during the post-internet and post-conceptual return to painting of the 2010s and 2020s, producing works that absorb image culture, mysticism, queer history, abstraction, neuroscience, and digital circulation into a single pictorial structure. The paintings resist stable hierarchy; information, memory, spirituality, and reproduction coexist on equal terms.

The invitation belongs to the visual economy surrounding contemporary gallery culture: restrained typography, institutional white space, and a single image functioning as portable exhibition surrogate. Less documentation than compressed exhibition form.
