Self-published folded artist brochure presenting Paula Izydorek’s Olo series, 2021. Colour offset printing on lightweight coated paper, 14 × 18 cm folded, 28 × 18 cm unfolded. Reproductions to both covers and across the interior, with an artist statement, short biography, contact details and individual work captions.

Condition: Good. Pronounced handling creases and surface undulation throughout, with minor edge and corner wear. Complete and structurally sound.

Izydorek studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and developed the Olo paintings through acrylic and coloured pencil applied to birch panels. The series examines intimacy as something altered by environment, influence and time, using intertwined profiles, repeated lines and the natural grain of the wood as a shared visual field.

The brochure reproduces works including Olo Somo 4.14.1, Olo Somo 5.14.1 and Olo Co-L 3.14.1, alongside four smaller Olo Co- compositions. The captions retain their original 2014 dates, dimensions and materials; one of these paintings later appeared in Izydorek’s 2018 solo exhibition at Rosewood Gallery in Kettering, Ohio.

Produced outside a gallery or museum, the object carries its own system of distribution. Image, statement, biography, studio address and website are assembled by the artist into a portable account of the work. The paintings circulate first through the artist’s own printed structure.
