Collection: Piero Steinle

Piero Steinle is a German artist who has worked in close collaboration with Julian Rosefeldt on large-scale film and video installation projects. Their joint practice, developed through the late 1990s and early 2000s, employs cinematic staging and structural analysis to examine social ritual, institutional behaviour and the performative codes of everyday life. Their collaborative work was included in De Schoonheid van het Kwaad at the Armando Museum and De Zonnehof, Amersfoort, 2001–2002.
