Collection: David Nash
David Nash (born 1945) is a British sculptor who has worked primarily in wood throughout a career based in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. His practice engages with living and felled timber, charred surfaces, and long-duration land-based projects, most notably Ash Dome (1977–ongoing), a ring of ash trees planted and shaped over decades. He was awarded the OBE in 1999 and has exhibited at major institutions internationally, including the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
