Collection: Boyd Webb

Boyd Webb (born 1947, New Zealand) is a New Zealand-born, London-based artist known for large-scale colour photographs that construct elaborate, often absurdist tableaux using everyday materials, the human body and theatrical staging. His work combines deadpan humour with an interest in ecological systems, consumption and the strangeness of ordinary objects. Webb studied at the Royal College of Art, London, and has exhibited internationally since the late 1970s. He participated in Spellbound: Art and Film at the Hayward Gallery, London, in 1996.
