A small artist publication built from the language and administrative structures surrounding Disney. Taroop & Glabel reproduce found material including a 1989 internal regulation concerning female employees at Eurodisneyland, specifying acceptable clothing, skirt lengths, fabrics, stockings and appearance. Presented outside its original corporate setting, the document begins to read differently: less as instruction than as evidence.

That displacement is the work. The corporation supplies the material. The artists change its position. The intervention is deliberately slight: selection, reproduction, placement. Disney’s language remains essentially unchanged, but once removed from the administrative system that produced it and inserted into an artist book, its procedures become newly visible.

The pink wrapper and cartoon imagery sharpen the contradiction. Mickey operates as the familiar face of entertainment and innocence; inside, the language shifts to regulation, discipline and control. Fantasy on the outside. Administration underneath.

The publication sits between found document, artist book and institutional residue. Nothing needs to be transformed materially. The change occurs through context.

Condition: Good. Light handling and surface wear to wrappers, including a visible crease to the upper front cover, minor edge and corner wear, and light age-related marking. Internally well preserved.
