A small Guggenheim support object from Prince’s major 2007 retrospective Spiritual America. The card carries an image already built from circulation: pulp cover, scanned source, painted surface, museum reproduction, shop object. Within The New Rare register, its interest is not only the reproduced Nurse painting, but the way the image moves again through the museum’s own retail and postal format.
