Condition: Good. Visible creasing and surface undulation, with light edge and corner wear consistent with handling and circulation.

Hujar was closely embedded within the artists, writers and performers of downtown New York during the 1970s and early 1980s. His portraits often moved between formal sitting, backstage preparation and performance, recording a circle in which identity could be rehearsed, costumed and briefly held for the camera.

The announcement has no secondary administrative face. Both sides are occupied by photographs. One carries the exhibition dates; the other the title and gallery address. Two portraits, two arrangements of the same name, and a copyright credit returning each image to the Peter Hujar Archive.
