The recto reproduces a recent portrait of Pistoletto framed within his magenta Segno Arte motif — the artist standing with arms raised inside a large pink-red painted frame structure — while the verso functions as an administrative surface: dates, opening hours, venue, anniversary context, and full itinerary. Image and information occupy equal weight. The artist appears simultaneously as portrait, exhibition, and programme.

The card records a late moment in the career of one of the central figures of Arte Povera. By 2023, Pistoletto’s practice had shifted from the singular exhibition toward a distributed institutional presence, with the invitation acting as one node within that larger system of circulation. Retained after its immediate purpose, it becomes a compact record of how contemporary art continues to move through galleries, postal networks, and collections.
