Poster re-presenting A che punto sei? / Where Are You Standing?, originally produced in 1976 for the 37th Venice Biennale by International Local — the collective name used by Sarah Charlesworth, Joseph Kosuth and Anthony McCall.

The work takes the form of a map, but the route is social rather than geographic. Visitors are asked to locate their position within the machinery of the Biennale: producer, intermediary, consumer, professional, public, insider, outsider. The exhibition is presented as a system of access, language, labour and cultural hierarchy. Three paths are proposed: Percorso 1 for art-world professionals (critics, curators, dealers, artists); Percorso 2 for artists, filmmakers, architects, dancers, photographers, writers, designers, musicians; Percorso 3 for the public. The maze in the centre of the sheet is the Biennale itself.

Its return in 2026 places a 1970s conceptual poster back into circulation at the exact site of its original problem: Venice as exhibition, marketplace, international stage and maze. A printed work made to question orientation becomes orientation again.
