Collection: Romain Slocombe
Romain Slocombe (born 1953) is a French artist, photographer, filmmaker and novelist whose practice has moved between Paris and Tokyo since the 1980s. His photography of Tokyo street life, youth culture and urban space appeared in numerous publications and exhibitions from the 1990s onward, including contributions to Tokyo Vertigo (Creation Books, 2001). He is also known for his painted and drawn work and for fiction engaging with Japanese culture, crime and transgression.
