Collection: Philippe Mayaux
PHILIPPE MAYAUX (born 1961, Lille) is a French artist whose work operates across painting, sculpture and installation, combining surrealist imagery, dark humour and an interest in the grotesque with a highly controlled technical practice. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de Lille and has exhibited widely in France and internationally. Mayaux participated in Fiasco, the 1992 exhibition at Art : Concept, Nice, proposed by JEAN-YVES JOUANNAIS and dedicated to Jacques Lizène. This collection gathers exhibition catalogues, publications and printed ephemera produced in connection with his work.
