Collection: Paul Éluard

Paul Éluard (1895–1952) was a French poet and one of the founders of the Surrealist movement. A close collaborator of Max Ernst, Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso, he co-organised the 1938 Exposition internationale du surréalisme in Paris with André Breton. His poetry and his role as editor and organiser made him central to the movement’s printed culture.
