Nicolas Chardon is a French artist whose practice centres on painting and abstraction, engaging with questions of colour, repetition and the material conditions of the painted surface. His work extends questions of systematic and Concrete abstraction into a contemporary context and has been shown widely in France and internationally. He was included in Surprise, Surprise at Galerie Jean Greset, Besançon, in 2013.
