Marta Minujín (born 1943) is an Argentine artist whose practice from the early 1960s has encompassed performance, happenings, installation and large-scale public works that place her among the most significant figures in Latin American avant-garde art. She was a participant in the international happening and Fluxus-adjacent culture of the 1960s, working in Buenos Aires, Paris and New York. Her collaborations with Allan Kaprow and Wolf Vostell in the mid-1960s — including Simultaneidad en Simultaneidad (1966), conducted simultaneously across three continents — established her as a key figure in international performance and intermedia practice. She represented Argentina at the Venice Biennale and her work has been exhibited at MoMA, New York, and the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
