Lois Nesbitt is an American artist and writer who worked in New York in the 1980s and early 1990s at the intersection of visual art and critical theory, contributing to exhibitions and publications associated with institutional critique and urban politics. Her work appeared in The Power of the City / The City of Power (Whitney ISP Papers No. 1, 1992), an exhibition concerned with the relationship between public space, power and resistance. She subsequently pursued a career as an architect and writer.
