Konrad Klapheck (born 1935) is a German painter known for his precisely rendered, monumental depictions of typewriters, sewing machines, telephones and other domestic machines, invested with psychological and erotic charge. André Breton championed his work and he was associated with the Surrealist movement from the late 1950s.
