Hooman Majd

Hooman Majd (born 1957) is an Iranian-American writer, journalist and former music industry executive whose work has focused on Iran, Iranian-American relations and Persian culture. His books include The Ayatollah Begs to Differ (2008) and The Ministry of Guidance Invites You to Not Stay (2013). Majd has written for publications including GQ, The New Yorker and The New York Times, and contributed to Bald Ego no. 3 (c. 2004), edited by Glenn O’Brien and Max Blagg.
