Collection: Hans Glattfelder

Hans Glattfelder (born 1939) is a Swiss artist whose practice centres on painting and Concrete abstraction, engaging with questions of geometry, colour, optical structure and the logic of the painted surface. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich and has exhibited widely across Europe over several decades. His work connects to the traditions of Concrete and systematic art that developed in Switzerland and France from the post-war period onwards. He was included in Surprise, Surprise at Galerie Jean Greset, Besançon, in 2013.
