Collection: Elaine Equi
Elaine Equi (born 1953) is an American poet whose work is known for its wit, compression and engagement with visual art, consumer culture and everyday language. She has published numerous collections including Decoy (1984), Surface Tension (1989) and Click and Clone (2011), and her poetry has appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies. Associated with the New York School and its successors, Equi has taught at the New School and City College of New York. She contributed to Bald Ego no. 3 (c. 2004), edited by Glenn O’Brien and Max Blagg.
