Drawing

Exhibition catalogues, artists’ publications, and printed matter concerned with drawing as primary practice. Graphite, ink, pencil, and related media: works in which the mark, the line, and the surface of paper are the primary terms. Drawing here is understood not as preparatory or secondary to other work, but as a distinct mode of attention — provisional, immediate, and often concerned with what remains at the edge of visibility or completion.
