Collection: Don Myer
Don Myer is an American photographer whose practice in the 1970s and early 1980s engaged with constructed and manipulated photographic imagery, situating his work within the broader context of post-documentary approaches to the medium. His work was shown in group exhibitions at university and alternative spaces on the East Coast during this period, including the Ben Shahn Gallery at William Paterson College, Wayne, New Jersey, where he was included in Altered Subjects: Photography in 1980 alongside Richard Prince, John Pfahl, and Bernard Faucon.
