Collection: Bruce Patterson
Bruce Patterson is an American photographer whose practice in the late 1970s and early 1980s engaged with constructed and interventionist approaches to the medium. His work was included in Altered Subjects: Photography at the Ben Shahn Gallery, William Paterson College, Wayne, New Jersey, in 1980, a group exhibition that also featured Richard Prince, John Pfahl, Bernard Faucon, and Victor Schrager, and which examined the ways photographers were intervening in image-making processes prior to or during exposure.
