Bernard Faucon (born 1950) is a French photographer and writer whose work centres on elaborately constructed tableaux featuring mannequins, adolescent figures, and theatrical mise-en-scène, exploring themes of memory, childhood, and the uncanny. Associated with staged photography and the broader European tradition of constructed imagery, Faucon distinguished himself through his large-format colour prints and the conceptual rigour underlying their apparent naivety. He represented France at international exhibitions throughout the 1980s and was included in major surveys of contemporary photography at the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
