Collection: Barney Kulok

Barney Kulok is an American photographer based in New York whose work examines architecture, light and the built environment through large-format black-and-white photography. His sustained project photographing the construction of the new Whitney Museum of American Art building on Gansevoort Street, New York, was exhibited at the museum and published as Above the Payoff (2015). Kulok contributed to Bald Ego no. 3 (c. 2004), edited by Glenn O’Brien and Max Blagg.
