Stedelijk Museum

The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary art and design in the world, with a collection and exhibition history spanning from the late nineteenth century to the present. Its programme has encompassed major figures in postwar European and American art — from CoBrA and De Stijl through Fluxus, Minimal Art, and beyond — as well as significant holdings in design, applied arts, and non-Western material. The museum’s catalogues and printed matter, produced across decades of exhibition-making, constitute an important body of documentary and design history in their own right.
