Collection: Richard Wentworth
Richard Wentworth (born 1947) is a British artist and sculptor whose practice draws on the overlooked logic of everyday objects, urban environments, and the improvised solutions people devise to navigate daily life. His sculptural work, photographs, and writings collectively constitute an inquiry into the poetic and practical intelligence embedded in ordinary things. A key figure in the New British Sculpture milieu, he has taught extensively at Goldsmiths and has exhibited widely in Britain and internationally.
