Collection: Pipilotti Rist
Pipilotti Rist (b. 1962, Grabs, Switzerland) is among the most significant figures in video and installation art since the late 1980s. Her practice brings together pop music, feminism, bodily imagery, colour, and immersive projection to create spatial environments that operate as optical and psychological fields. Rooms become saturated with image and sound; the body, desire, and perception are held in suspension.
Rist has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Tate Modern, London; the Kunstmuseum Basel; and major institutions internationally. Her work has been presented at the Venice Biennale and Documenta. She is represented by Luhring Augustine, New York, and Hauser & Wirth.
This collection gathers exhibition invitations, announcement cards, and printed matter relating to Pipilotti Rist’s practice.
