Collection: Paul de Monchaux

Paul de Monchaux (born 1934) is a British sculptor whose refined, often architectural works in stone and bronze engage with questions of place, structure, and human scale. He studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and has maintained a sustained practice concerned with the relationship between object and site. He co-selected The Sculpture Show at the Hayward Gallery and Serpentine Gallery in 1983, one of the most significant surveys of British sculpture of its decade.
