Collection: Kate Blacker

Kate Blacker (born 1953) is a British sculptor whose practice engages with organic form, materials in tension, and the constructed object as a site of visual and physical energy. She co-selected The Sculpture Show at the Hayward Gallery and Serpentine Gallery in 1983, where her own work Monument in Progress opened the exhibition's list of 102 works. Her sculpture has been exhibited widely in Britain and is held in public collections including the Arts Council Collection.
