Collection: Anne Nicholson

Anne Nicholson (born 1950, United Kingdom) is a British sculptor whose practice in the 1970s and 1980s engaged with site-specific installation and the material properties of industrial and natural substances. Working within the generation of British artists who came to prominence through open-submission exhibitions of the early 1980s, she participated in The Sculpture Show at the Hayward Gallery and Serpentine Gallery, London, 1983, a landmark survey of British sculpture across four London sites.
