Collection: Andrew Kötting

Andrew Kötting (born 1959) is a British artist and filmmaker whose work spans film, performance, installation and walking practice. His feature debut Gallivant (1996), a coastal circumnavigation of Britain made with his grandmother Gladys and daughter Eden, established a practice of durational, collaborative and often eccentric journeys that resist conventional documentary form. Associated with the British avant-garde and artists' moving image tradition, Kötting has exhibited widely and taught extensively, with work distributed through the British Film Institute.
