Original announcement card issued for Moving Image: Contemporary Video Art Fair, Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf, London, 13–16 October 2011. The inaugural edition of Moving Image London established one of the first art fairs dedicated exclusively to contemporary video art, bringing together an international network of galleries representing artists working across film, video, installation, and performance.

The choice of Wilke’s So Help Me Hannah (1978) as the lead image is significant. Produced during a period when Wilke was challenging conventions surrounding gender, self-representation, and vulnerability, the photograph became one of her most recognisable images. Its use here links the fair to the expanded history of feminist performance and lens-based practices that helped shape contemporary video art.
