Collection: Victor Schrager

Victor Schrager (born 1950) is an American photographer whose studio-based practice centres on the constructed still life, bringing together objects, reproductions, and printed matter in compressed, formally precise compositions that investigate the relationship between the photographic image and the objects it depicts. His work has been exhibited at major American institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the International Center of Photography, and is held in public and private collections in the United States and Europe. Schrager has also produced several artist books in collaboration with writers and publishers.
