Collection: Michel Blazy
Michel Blazy (b. 1966, Monaco) is a French artist whose practice works with organic, perishable and unstable materials — food, plants, mould, soap, living matter — as the primary medium of sculpture and installation. His work embraces transformation, decomposition and the unpredictable behaviour of biological processes as both subject and method, positioning the artwork as something that continues to change after it leaves the studio. Blazy was included in Fiasco at Art : Concept, Nice (1992), curated by Jean-Yves Jouannais, and has since exhibited widely in France and internationally. This collection gathers exhibition catalogues, publications and printed ephemera featuring work by Michel Blazy.
