Mayotte Magnus

Mayotte Magnus (1940–2002) was a British photographer and filmmaker who worked across portraiture, documentary and experimental film from the 1960s onwards. She contributed to Women's Images of Men at the ICA, London, in 1980, where her photograph of Francis Bacon appeared. She co-directed the film Requiem for a Village (1975) with David Gladwell and produced documentary work for the BBC.
