Collection: Marcia Resnick
Marcia Resnick (born 1950) is an American photographer and artist whose work spans conceptual photography, feminist image-making and documentary portraiture. Her early conceptual projects of the 1970s, including Re-visions (1978), combined photography and text to examine perception, memory and the construction of meaning. She subsequently became known for her intimate portraits of the New York punk and new wave scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s, published in Punks, Poets & Provocateurs (1979).
