Laurie Anderson

Laurie Anderson is an American artist and composer whose practice spans performance, music, film, and installation. Emerging from the New York downtown scene of the 1970s, her work combines storytelling, technology, and language into large-scale multimedia performances that have made her one of the most widely recognised figures in contemporary art and experimental music.
