Collection: Hoang Tan Nguyen
Hoang Tan Nguyen is a New York-based artist, curator and writer whose practice spans video, installation, performance and critical writing. His work engages with questions of queer identity, diaspora, Southeast Asian history and cultural politics, drawing on Vietnamese-American experience alongside broader frameworks of postcolonialism and sexuality. Nguyen has exhibited and performed internationally and has been involved in curatorial and editorial projects addressing the intersections of art, race, gender and community. He participated in Know Who You Are at Every Age at the Bronx River Art Center in 2014, curated by Q_Raider and BDGRMMR as part of BRAC’s Curatorial Practice Series.
