Collection: Dahlia Elsayed

Dahlia Elsayed is a New York-based artist and writer whose practice spans painting, installation, text and performance, engaging with questions of language, narrative, cultural identity and the politics of storytelling. Her work frequently incorporates text as image and image as text, drawing on Arabic and American cultural contexts to examine how stories are told, translated and transmitted across different communities and traditions. Elsayed has exhibited widely across New York and has been involved in public art projects and community-based initiatives. She was included in the S/O section of Know Who You Are at Every Age at the Bronx River Art Center in 2014, curated by Q_Raider and BDGRMMR.
