Dado (Miodrag Djurić, 1933–2010) was a Yugoslav-born French painter known for densely populated, hallucinatory canvases combining figuration, horror and dark humour. He settled in France in the 1950s and was championed by Jean Dubuffet. His work sits at the intersection of Surrealism, Art Brut and an entirely singular vision.
