Collection: Brian Wood

Brian Wood is an American photographer whose practice in the 1980s engaged with sequential and narrative approaches to the photographic image. His work was included in Sequence (con)Sequence at the Edith C. Blum Art Institute, Bard College in 1989, curated by Julia Ballerini, an exhibition that gathered nineteen artists examining how photographic sequencing had shifted under the conditions of postmodern image culture, from stable narrative toward fragmentation, repetition and the interrupted logics of mass media.
