Anne Turyn (born 1954) is an American artist and photographer whose work combines photography and text to explore memory, childhood, narrative and the construction of personal history. Active in the New York art world from the late 1970s, she was a founding editor of the influential artist magazine Top Stories (1978–1991), which published work by artists and writers including Kathy Acker, Cookie Mueller and Lynne Tillman. Her photographic series have been exhibited and collected internationally.
