Collection: Adel Abdessemed
Adel Abdessemed (b. 1971, Constantine, Algeria) — artist working across sculpture, photography, film, drawing, and installation. Based between Europe and the United States, Abdessemed emerged during the 2000s as one of the most discussed artists of his generation, addressing violence, representation, power, memory, and resistance through work that repeatedly stages encounters between bodies, monuments, and collective symbols. He has exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Centre Pompidou, and major institutions internationally.
