The accompanying catalogue was prepared by Mira Jacob and Claire Paulhan and combined reproductions with manuscript material.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs editor of \u003cem\u003eLa Nouvelle Revue française\u003c\/em\u003e and a longstanding reader and supporter of painters, Paulhan occupied a position between literary publishing and visual art. His correspondence, criticism and editorial work connected figures who otherwise belonged to different generations and movements.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe invitation converts that network into a page. Names are distributed without chronology or hierarchy, moving between writers, painters and artist-writers.
